This is the perfect album I’ve been waiting for all year, sure to be on several people’s list of Top Ten Ambient Albums of 2020. A stand-alone masterpiece. An hour-long lullaby. Tightly executed yet fluid, reminiscent of Klaus Schulze’s best work. Like him, Equana knows exactly when to add new elements to a slowly-unfolding theme. Emotionally powerful yet subdued, Eguana has become the ambient Rachmaninoff and this is, for me, his most satisfying work. Paul Asbury Seaman
