Paul Asbury Seaman Although I’m a big fan of Eguana’s music, it took me a few listens to get into this one. Very different and darker than his other releases. But unlike much of dark ambient that has a gothic feel, full of foreboding, Qvum is about the acceptance of entropy and a heavy silence. A metaphor for disheartening times, more requiem than Lovecraft space adventure. There’s some solace here, if you have the patience to wait in the darkness. Favorite track: Eguana - Sentinel Of Gate.
